In defense of boredom

In this article,  Rosecrans Baldwin talks about how when people are bored,  they'll put in their headphones,  sometimes even to avoid people. He used his own personal experience to prove his point and I 100% agree with it because even I do this. However, I feel as though he should've used better evidence rather than his own personal experience because this article didn't change my opinion even slightly about wearing headphones and listening to music when I'm bored.
